From a small village in Bulgaria to the United States, my journey with food has been one of rediscovery and healing.
I grew up where food was simple, seasonal, and trusted. But after moving to the U.S. in 2011, my health declined rapidly. Despite a "normal" diet, I struggled with digestive issues, inflammation, and fatigue. I realized that many modern, ultra-processed foods were overwhelming my body—even the ones that appeared "healthy" on the surface.
This personal struggle, combined with my earlier experiences navigating PCOS and infertility, led me to seek deeper answers. I realized that food isn't universal; what supports one person can be a stressor to another.
Motivated to help others, I completed Health and Wellness: Designing Sustainable Nutrition Plans through Harvard Medical School and studied Nutrition at eCornell University.
Today, my work is rooted in bioindividual nutrition and culinary medicine. I help clients move away from rigid, restrictive plans and toward a personalized approach that honors their body’s unique signals.
“Healing begins when we stop forcing our bodies to fit a plan and start creating plans that fit our bodies.”
